The theme of the convention, "An Awakening of the Spirit" lets me know that I must cast out my will and pray for a God-centered life, in order to maintain a spiritual awakening. The joy of living was what I saw at this convention. The countdown of clean time years started at 50 years and continued down to 24 hours. It gave me chills. It was very moving to see the strength and hope in others and to hear them share their experiences on the path of recovery. I'm looking forward to next year's convention.
